Several years ago I ran into a co-worker on a Saturday night in wall Mart pharmacy
We could only laugh our weekends have reduced from partying going out for a good evening down to shopping at Wal-Mart on a Saturday night. That pretty much summed up what life had become
Funny part we decided not to speak of our meeting to other buddies lol

Back in the day sitting on the benches at wall mart was good entertainment.
Benches are now long gone, I think.

as a young fellow in my teens my buddies and I would head to the new big mall about 40 miles away on a Saturday or Sunday , when they were the place to be and be seen in the early days of the glory of such places .
I recall just sitting on a bench or walking in the crowd watching all the girls in barely there clothes and of course hitting on them,( not like the real hitting / beating on them as in today ) , oh and with little success I may add . LOL . but still a fun time

Right Ditch-Runner. I did the same back in the '60's. Yes, the chase can be a lot of fun too even if you come up empty. 😋

Just like hunting! Some of my best deer hunts I never saw a deer. What I did see was all kinds of wonderful things I had never seen before. Nature at its best. Not to mention, when we go hunting, either deer or dears it wouldn't be fun if we always got what we were hunting for!! 😁
