It started snowing at about midnight. We have maybe an inch now. My dogs have been out in it all night.

    I don't know your dog situation but my Bullmastiffs from years past wouldn't be out in that. Just a suggestion would be bring them in to lay by the fireplace. 😗

    I have 2 Golden Retrievers. One slept outside last night in the snow.

    We were forcasted to get 6-8" overnight. I was disappointed this AM, we only have 1/2-1".

    We got maybe a half inch with none really sticking in the road. I guess a few trees came down in Raleigh and some folks lost power but we were fine. I was up late and saw it start, I didn't think it was going to happen.


    This winter has been a wet one here my yard is really squishy and now the snow will make it even worse. Forget about playing golf. I actually enjoy playing golf when it gets colder. 40-50 degrees is nice but when its as wet as its been the course is a mud hole.

    I was REALLY looking forward to waking up to 6-8" of snow.

    Kinda bummed.

    Gonna get down to about 12° tonight.

    I have minature snauzers and a standard poodle in SD winters


    They love the snow. Roll in it and play all day.


    when I had labs i could not them out of the water in the winter. They would curl up and sleep in it.

    My wife is the one in this house who gets disappointed not waking up to 6-8" .

    We had a solid coat of frozen rain with 1" of snow on top this morning. SNOW SUCKS!

    I used to love it in Alaska, now it is just an annoying part of winter.

    Come on Spring!

    I miss complaining about the heat and humidity.
