I just purchased an H & K -91 G -3 Paratrooper Bi Pod - Claw Mount the serial number is A020995, was wondering if someone knows the year it is, not sure, I know its a Pre ban Rifle. Thanks

  The production date of your rifle cant be identified by its serial number. Look directly below the serial number and between the proof marks you'll see a two letter code. Give me those two letters and I can decode them into the year your rifle was produced.

  it says HK under the serial number

  HK equates to a 1979 production date.

  H=7

  K=9
