wally word a bit earlier tonight

wife and went into town so as normal I went by the sporting good counter

it was completely bare except some CCI 22 lr they had just put in the case ( stock night at wm) a fellow maybe in mid 30's and his son about 13 ? they were like birddogs froze in place waiting on some one to open the case .

so we talked a bit he had bought his three sons all 22's for Christmas but had been chasing his tail and countless phone calls to find ammo . when the clerk showed up he ask the fellow how many boxes the fellow said all of it I want all of it LOL I will add he was very nice guy ask me If wanted or needed any of it he would gladly let me buy some also . I passed did not need any however I thanked him for the kind offer to share it most would never even ask such a question . I found out he lives in the same general area as I do .

he bought ball park 250.00 of cci 22 lr I did not notice the price but being Walmart I am sure it was normal retail no 2 or 3x as most places are doing , he was happy as a clam and added now I have to break the news to my wife what spent LOL some thing are the same all over

one thing that did surprise me they ( WM ) had no limit signs posted as normal during situations like this so buy one or buy it all

    Yeah, in a way he is the problem but if the only people buying up 22 ammo were people who bought their three sons 22 rifles for Christmas there would be an unlimited supply of 22 ammo.


    I can't stand someone who is a hoarder or buying to resell at an extravagant profit but buying for your boys?? I will cut him some serious slack!!

    The last time I bought some .22 LR at Wally World, there was a limit of 4 boxes....

    just came back from WM, went to buy a clock radio. anybody remember those. anyway went by ammo counter and bought a 100 round box of 1oz 20ga 5 shot for 36.00. those should last me till the end of time. they had 6 cartons of them and some 12ga.
