Yeah...........and a lot of venues will no longer host gun shows..........that is the case here in liberal Austin.

not only the liberals, but the covid restrictions on distance, and limiting number of people at gatherings, less tables and less people in attendance = lost revenue, most just simply can't afford to run at 1/3 or less capacity....

Shooting range and gun store Myrtle Beach closed a while back.

I agree, this situation is closing things down just as fast as if they tried to take the guns away. Makes one wonder.

I tried to go to a gun show this week-end...........there was a waiting line to get into the parking lot 😒

A couple weeks ago at a very large regional gun show the line waiting to get in was over 1/4 mile long . They were limiting the number of folks allowed inside . I'm told the wait to get in was as long as two hours . Not much that I am interested in that is worth standing in line that long

I used to have a circuit also Todd but that has been gone for about a year. Illinois mandates another FFL to go along with the federal FFL, along with a list of insane regulations forcing over 80% of the shops to close it's doors. Sad indeed as I liked to take a road trip about once a month. Still have two shops, that's it. I work a little in one of them and their inventory or lack of is astounding. The politics have doomed us in the prairie state, never to return to anything "normal."

I had plans to go to a small show a couple of counties over last weekend, but it was cancelled at the last minute due to covid I suppose.

Yep, times a changing and not for the better for me.

The plague has stopped us from even trying to go.

    Ammo sure is pricy.

I'm stocked up on reloads. Got stocked up on rim fire some time back.

Suspected changes coming again and I was right again. Makes two times that I was right.

Think I'll buy a lottery ticket. (with the next stimulus check)

Sales are breaking records and yet small shops are closing and gun shows are not happening right now. Strange. Maybe it is the shop owners hitting retirement age and no one taking over for them.

I haven't come across many deals at gun shows for years. I had all but quit gong to the shows pre covid because they are time wasters more than anything.

I was at a local shop the other day (PSA) and they offered .22 ammo, 800 rounds for 108.00 since my wife had bought a .22 Walther.

(they had no ammo on the shelves other than some really oddball stuff)

Wife was excited but I told her no bother we have over 30K rounds of .22, thankfully years ago I stocked up heavy and have more ammo then I will ever shoot.
