Going through my ammo drawers and found 30.30 and 32 special I forgot I even had. Havent even got a gun to shoot it , might as well put it on the block. Will have to take it to the trap club and see if I can swap it for some powder.

If you're patient enough, find an online retailer that will backorder. You won't find pre-panic pricing, but there are some that aren't in the realm of the .90 cent-$1.00+ gougers.

Or wait for the ammo companies to catch up to demand.

A surplus steel guy once said his dad's advice towards business is never buy anything like it's the last one and never sell anything like it's the last one.

I think that was some smart advice.

simple solution. quite buying or trying to buy it. its always about supply and demand, stop the demand and the supply will increase and the price will drop.

Let me know when you get ready to put that 32 Special up! I'd like to have another couple of boxes for my 94!

(Don't tell anyone else, though. I don't wanna have to much competition for 'em!)

I have seen 22lr advertised on the intennet ammo seek sights for over a 1.00 some still low at only .17 cents a round lol

Tempted to sell off part of mine even if . .25 to 50 cents a round I be a happy camper with 30k + rounds

And the 500 rounds of 5.56 I just found beyond what I thought I had

Would buy a new toy not right away though

Your post have explained very well why I have been handloading my ammo for 50 years. It is the wrong time to start reloading now, primers are in very short supply.

I need ammo but I can't afford that price.

Seemingly no one wants to actually answer your statement when viewed as a question.

You are about one year too late to find reasonable prices for any ammunition. The C-19 scare started the panic buying then the election of The Idiot really set of the panic in a huge way. The manufacturers are running at capacity but the ammunition hitting the store shelves or the online sites is snatched up immediately.

Here is a video from the CEO of Vista regarding the supply:

The short answer is, pay the price or do without. Reloading components have the same problems.

    Best.
