Getting Old
As we were sitting in the kitchen this morning drinking coffee, my wife was complaining about a side ache. She thought she might have lain in bed "wrong" or something. She said, "I didn't know getting old was going to be this bad!"

I sure am finding out that those that told me, "growing old ain't for sissies", were correct. I still think it beats the alternative but get back with me in a few more years to see if I've changed my mind. Bob

I drop more stuff than I used to and it's harder to bend over to pick that stuff up.
Beginning to see lot's of problems that seem to relate to getting blown up many years ago. Went to the dentist for removal of a bad tooth in the part of my face that was seriously damaged and he broke the one beside it while prying the already broken one out. Now, that one's got to come out in a month or two.
555 days on the hip replacement and it's a FAILURE. This is way longer than was stated to return to "normal" so guess the dinglebob surgeon had no idea of what my normal is/was. I had planned to get the hip done and back up to full capability and then get my shoulder fixed. Well, that's NOT going to happen after the dismal failure on the hip.

Old age kind of sneaks up on you. Seems not too long ago I was popping zits and trying to grow a beard. The memories are better from way back when and yesterday is mostly forgotten!
