Glock Commercials on ABC

As we were watching Jeopardy, this evening on our local cable system. There popped up a Glock Commercial. Surprised to see one showing on prime time and on ABC.

Have only seen the Glock commercials on the hunting and outdoor channels.

    They might be testing the waters to see what they can get away with the new bunch in charge.

    It could also be just local to your cable provider and not necessarily being broadcast nationally by ABC.

    I have never seen a Glock commercial on TV.

    There were a handful of Glock ads with R Lee Ermy in them, all featuring a scenario where a crime was stopped by an armed citizen. Maybe outdoor network.

    I haven't seen a gun commercial on TV for a very very very long time. They even made NASCAR take off the sponsorship for Remington and others.

    I figured they (the govt) had banned firearms ads on TV long ago, same as they did cigarette ads back in 1971. If they haven't they will now.

    I have never seen a gun commercial on network TV.

    Visited a shop near ATL this past Fri. Guy was logging in new GeeLocks. Looked as if there 20 setting on the counter. Said the factory being local allowed them to get what they wanted rather quickly.
