for those who carry pocket knife.......
seems the older I get the more I lay it down and forget where I layed it, I lose em way before I can break them. Well lost my last one this week so went to a website I had bookmarked was buying a small 3, to 3 1/2 inch pocket knife for like $3.50 each. went to the site and price of these cheap chinese folders are now almost $10 apiece! got to searching around and found another site had a small 2 blade 3inch folder for $3.20 each, ordered 8 of them and just got em in the mail today. they will never be the quality of an old timer or shrade, but for the price it was just what I wanted, small, light enough not to weigh pocket down and if you lose one it won't break you up. I know you knife snobs will flame this post but I am not about to pay $20 or better for pocket knife and lose it in a months time, matter of fact I gave the mailman one after he asked what was in the box he handed me...... got 7 to last me the next few years

Yup, we concede.
Serious question, though: When I clip a knife in a front jeans pocket, it blocks my hand from getting into the pocket - or at least scrapes my hand when I try. Is that something you just put up with or is there a solution?

I make knives as a hobby, and own a lot of them. Can't stand to have anything in my pockets excluding my wallet, so I carry a Craftsman utility folder on my belt, and a small cheapie folder on my key ring.

I have lost my share of decent knives over the years....I lost a Benchmade Vex while fishing once....my jacket caught the clip and it bounce twice on the deck and overboard it went into 12 feet of water.....Water temp was 54 degrees and we were fishing over a large down tree so it is still down there.......
