ECONOMIC IMPACT CARD
We recieved a Visa debit card in the mail yesterday. It looks like an elaborate scam, but what I'm finding online makes it sound legitimate.
Anyone else get their payment this way?

The Gift card is valid. There was a recent article I saw that said a large percentage of the debit cards from the first round of payments were thrown away. People thought it was a scam.

Warning Bubba! I am sure it is fake! If you send it to me I will render it safe for you and send it back. Of course I will have to test it here on GB just to make sure. Heck for you I will even try it on some of the horrendously priced ammo. But don't worry I'll send it back to you when it is used up, err.. uhmm.. I mean checked for safety. 😁 Bob

I received a card the last time.

Mine was legit - and completely unexpected. When I called to activate it, I learned that the total value for my wife and I combined is a whopping $112.50. Don't pin your hopes on a buying spree.

Wow Bob, you would do that for me, I am humbled. I went to the IRS site to check the validity of the card and it said that I was denied access to that information. If you send me your address and a security deposit, I'll give you the card and you can check it out for me. That's what friends are for, right? 😀
