It isn't that I don't get to speak, (alto that can be a problem!) the problem is she doesn't listen, then later tells me I should have told her about [whatever] and cranks on me when I tell her "I did!" Which of course immediantly goes to "You did not!"

My son-in-law just bought me a coffee mug that says "To bad [female dog]ing doesn't burn calories!" and told me that when she starts doing her female dog imitation I am to hold up the mug for her to read!! For some reason she wasn't real happy with either of us!! 😂😋😂

My wife's brother always liked to refer to himself as the Italian Stallion in his younger days. I would always laugh at him and sing that old Mac Davis tune about "Oh Lord It's Hard To Be Humble" and then remind him that his sister I married was Sicilian.

He would then just turn red and call me a cradle robber. Said she was just sweet 16 when we met. Married her just days after she turned 17. I had just turned 18. We were born exactly one year and one day apart. Our 47th anniversary is coming up next month.

I cannot help myself when I read posts about "Grouch Attack", I laugh until my gut hurts and tears start to flow!

You really have to love someone a lot to get away with this stuff!!!!

I gave one of my good friends a Beer Cozy that said -

"I have not spoken to my Wife in 18 months.

I don't like to interrupt her when she's talking." 😂

Me too. 47 years last month.

I am still trying to decide if she's a keeper, though.

I am beginning to think she might be.

In that case, I can give you stories that will put you in intensive care. The only reason she's still living here is I can't bear to break up the family farm and I can't afford to buy her out. I don't make that stuff up, it's real and even more painful than it sounds.

Looks like the end of 1972 & the beginning of 1973 was a sad time. Three of us. As best I recall that was about when they changed the tax law from favoring married people to penalizing them.

My bad, that puts me at 48.

My wife informed me we were married 3 years before the Ice Bowl, which would make 56 for me.

The church was full when half way through the service there was a terrible ruckus. The altar filled with an acrid black smoke. There was thunder & lighting. Then a ghastly, dark figure appeared. The clergy & parishioners all fled, with the exception of one little old man. The figure glared at the old man & asked, "Do you know who I am?" The old man answered, " Yeah, sure, you're Satan, The Devil, Beelzebub." And Satan asked, "Aren't you afraid of me?" And the old man answered, "Why, I've been married to your sister for 43 years."
