Been thinking about tonight. Pretty sure it will be a grilled ham & cheese on sourdough bread. A big bowl of tomato soup cream style to dunk it in.

I have been OD'ing on fresh asparagus for every supper these last several days. Went shopping this morning and had to use the facilities to take a leak at the local Meijer store. The guy three urinals away commented....."smells like you have been enjoying your asparagus!" 😂

My boy is flying in from the bush today for moral support and my first grand baby will be born tomorrow at 7am so tonight is steaks on the deck. BIG steaks and asparagus right on the fire.

I put together a low country boil for my sisters birthday... I added snow crab clusters to the recipe for a change of pace.

I'm about to put a Pork loin in the smoker, first time trying a loin, other half gonna make potato salad and will make some garlic bread, gonna get it started and have a beer.

Last nites meal at the Boars Nest aka the slick rock eating meeting association was picnic ham with homemade mashed taters . The taters were in the ground until a few hours before suppertime . Fresh green beans .Dessert was a homemade pineapple cake .
