    I use to give blood at the Red Cross bus whenever it was around.

    Last time, years ago, I filled out the "pre op" papers and headed to the bus.

    Two blood takers, one maybe 40 and the other 90 or so.

    Assumed the position and said to my self, please don't let be the older of the two. Sure enough the vintage model. Stuck me about 6 times before the younger lady said"here let me help you". Praise the lord. One stick and done.

    First off, children are not on the "priority list". So one strike for being a lazy journalist.

    2nd strike for using a photo that makes it look like the lady is getting the shot in the right breast. My understanding is the shot goes in the arm.

    But hey, that is just me.

    Last nurse that worked on me was 70 yrs old. Not retired, and he was great.
