Carbon taxation is coming big time too!
The state aims to reduce natural gas use for home heating and hot water as part of its bid to lower emissions. Right now they say it's under advisement. But I think it will be mandatory soon enough.

Wow, most heating as well as hot water in CA comes from natural gas. Electricity is very expensive in CA. When I moved to Florida my electric bill dropped by 50%, despite my living in a larger house.
As a Class 3 dealer in CA, the state's restrictive gun laws were of no consequence to me, other than the GB dealers- none of them Class 3, who wouldn't sell to me.
On the other hand the high energy costs and taxes were a big issue! Big enough for me to leave.

Cali could have cheap electricity with ZERO carbon emissions if they'd build more nuclear power plants. Japan is building
five to replace the ones destroyed by a tidal wave app 10 yrs. China is building TWENTY.😮 l live in the Sunny South where
there are LOTS of NUKES and CHEAP electricity. They are safe and efficient. l know, l worked in them for 20 yrs. They're
building two NUKES less than 50 miles from me. They are basically the same type as being built in Japan and China. i know
there won't be any more built in Cali. They have all those windmills and solar cells generating their electricity. One problem
with that logic. When the wind won't BLOW and the sun won't SHINE you have NOTHING🤢 except a N U K E🤗

Renewables-17% itemized. hydro 7%, wind 7%, solar 2%, biomass/geothermal 1%
Nuclear-------20%
Coal------------23%
Natural gas-38%
Saying natural gas keeps 2 out of every 5 light bulbs lit 🌞 lf Cali has its way there might few folks left IN THE DARK.🌜️
