Are hobnails next
Our government officials have decided they can dictate what our daily activities can be. They can dictate what hours we are allowed out of the house and what "essential" activities we can perform. They can dictate what adult citizens are allowed to buy. They can dictate facial coverings. They can ban any item they wish by invoking the phrases "war on drugs" or "war on terrorism", and now "pandemic". They support the silencing of voices that do not agree with them and fully support propaganda they do agree with . They can dictate how many family members are allowed to gather for holiday dinners, wedding, funerals, or any other event. Can we expect iron shod jack booted thugs to be fully incorporated into our local systems? They are already entering people's homes and arresting them for having too many guest.
What should be considered ridiculous tyrannical behavior is being accepted and even pleaded for by many in our society. Rather than stand and fight for their just place in the halls of congress our "leaders" ran and hid like the cowards they are, called in troops, and set a curfew. All over a few malcontents that had enough of the BS to act on it. These are not the expected actions of leaders, these are the actions one expects from frightened dictators. Congress hid behind barriers and armed men while throwing insults and condemnation at the very people they supposedly represent. Castro would be smiling and laughing. Stalin would join him as would Mao.
I do not know where this country is going. I do know my ancestors fought a revolution over much less tyranny than we have in place today.

American individual liberties and rights have been declining for decades regardless of the political party of the President. The patriot act under Bush was bad. The ACA under Obama is straight out of the communist play book and is the biggest step toward total government since FDR's New Deal. The republicans refusal to overturn ACA makes them just as complicit as the democrats. While I have my issues with President Trump he did actually try to remove this socialist program.
Biden was instrumental in pushing the ACA and now is going to be the president. We certainly can expect more socialist programs to spew from him.
So, who do you want to replace him with?

My great, great, grandfather, Nathanial Parker, fought at Bunker Hill and other places during the Revolutionary War. He and his buddies were called Patriots for fighting to overthrow a tyrannical government. Today, the word patriot refers to someone who knuckles under and does the government's bidding without question. America has become Germany in the 1930s.

The hobnails came out when business owners were arrested for opening their businesses. Apparently they haven’t pushed hard enough yet.
