wish I had set up camera......
cleaning the christmas stuff yesterday, wife allways has the grandkids make gingerbread houses. I put both of them out back on tree stumps I left in yard to use as target stands for pellet rifle. one closest the house was gone this morning, one just little farther away was still intact, whole. Looked out just bit ago and must have been 15-20 turkeys destroying it, they fought over the pieces for a good 10-15 minutes, one of funniest thing I have seen for a while, one old hen would grab a piece and then half a dozen would take after her instead of just picking a piece up for themselves. The two toms in the flock just picked at their leisure, and weren't bothered by rest of flock, but the hens chased each other around the yard till it was gone.

You ought to see chickens fight over earthworms etc. Same kind of thing, one will grab one and go to a corner and try to quickly swallow it down while others swarm to try to steal it.

Friday noon thirty we were sitting at the table looking across the drive and i noticed a large odd looking dog....weeeellll it turns out to be a large gray spotted bobcat beautifully colored and healthy as a horse...it was nosing around the west side of the drive where the dogs do their thing and we just sat there and watched it for about 15-20 minutes till it went off west into the trees.....normally u see a bobcat as a streak going by so this was quite a treat..wife got several pics on her smart phone thru the door at about 40-50' but with the sun and other things they did not turn out crystal clear but good enuff to see what it was..... neat experience.....
