The media can ignore the facts all they want, but when the front line don't think it is safe...

How dare they be anti vaxxers, the audacity.

Yep, happening here in my state and those that refuse are instantly unemployed.

Certainly, I believe in ones right to refuse if they believe it is not safe, but employers should also have the right to deny employment to those who fail to comply.

Going to be interesting to see how many GIs refuse the vaccinations and end up with an other than honorable discharge.

Good thing I'm "retired". Otherwise I might get fired for telling someone where THEY can stick the vaccination.

I guess I have until late summer or fall before I need to decide for real.

Here’s one thing that I don’t follow though...

I don’t understand how last week it can be claimed that both of the current vaccines are in the 90-95% effective range and then this week Fauci can say that the vaccines only reduce the symptoms if you catch the virus.

Is it really a vaccine if it doesn’t prevent the disease?

Fauci: Early COVID-19 vaccines will only prevent symptoms, not block the virus
At Yahoo Finance's All Markets Summit, Dr. Anthony Fauci outlines the key goals of COVID-19 vaccine candidates racing to the finish line.

I have been taking the Dr. Jack Daniels vaccine...and so far, so good.

Why should I trust some upstart vaccine when Jack Daniels has been "sanitizing" since 1866?

I poke fun but my point is - a bunch of people will get super-rich off the current untested vaccines whether they work or not, whether they produce terrible side effects or not.

That is easily explainable if you have even the most basic understanding of how viral vaccines work. Vaccines aren't force fields.

It doesn't surprise me that people are declining the vaccine. I started working in healthcare in 1993 and can attest that healthcare workers are just as cautious as any other demographic.

Subsidized by the US taxpayers. Trump ushering in socialized medicine right under our noses.

And they get to pick and chose who gets it, but some here screaming you get fired if you don't. I would like to see the science behind it. Oh wait, there is none.

I mean seriously, if the doctors are refusing to take it...

And here is the real kicker, 85% are naturally immune. So inject yourself with an unknown chemical, to which the makers and profiteers have zero liability if things go wrong with their "rushed to market" cocktail. Then, on top of that, the 5%-10% that it doesn't work for, just opened themselves up to almost certain death (if they get it) because of pathogenic priming, you know, where the real bug comes in and subverts the fake immunity the chemical gave you, only to be a stronger bug.

And something I just thought of. Let's say you were one of the 85% that would be naturally immune. Now you inject a chemical that makes your body think you have corona. So you body starts to create the antibodies based on the fake triggers. Now the real bug comes along, and guess what? The fake antibodies don't know what to do with the real bug or the real bug adapts readily to the falsely prepared antibodies, and now you get it when you wouldn't have naturally.

What if your employer says you have to be castrated? Or how about chop of a hand?

Scout- I understand the ability to ameliorate symptoms but that is not how it was portrayed when they were touting 90-95 percent effectiveness. It was being touted as a way to prevent the spread of the virus, not simply lessen the symptoms.

My point is - was this another oh crap moment and reversal of the narrative? Or was this an attempt to purposely mislead?

Why would public transportation or an employer care if you were vaccinated if all it does is reduce symptoms on 90 -95% of people? I’ve seen no article saying if you have mild symptoms you cannot pass it on.

I could see nursing home staff rejecting the vaccine until all residents have not received it. Other than firefighters, the article conspicuously omits motivation.

The why in this case is as or more important than the what.

“I’m not going to compel anybody to OBEY MY GOVERNOR MANDATED 10PM to 5AMCURFEW, but I’m urging people to OBEY MY GOVERNOR MANDATED 10PM to 5AM CURFEW ,” he (DEWINE) said. “It’s very important,”

Just fill in the blank with any of the unconstitutional crap he spews.

He can pucker when he says it cause he can kiss my....

My girlfriend, who several GB members have met at the SHOT Shows, is a laboratory technician who specializes in viruses. She is NOT going to be taking the current vaccine, which she feels hasn't been tested sufficiently. She's the science geek, not me, so I'm not going to be vaccinated. Let several million take it, and then I'll consider it.

Italy is having another surge. Let’s send it to them.

Someone needs to be the guinea pig for this thing.

Horse Plains Drifter et.al.   I tried to verify this but could find nothing. How much time do you do spend searching for the one entry which seems to confirm your pre-conceived opinions while ignoring the hundreds of entries that say the opposite?

Large Numbers Of Health Care And Frontline Workers Are Refusing Covid-19 Vaccine
"I've heard Tuskegee more times than I can count in the past month — and, you know, it's a valid, valid concern."

Many front-line workers refuse Covid vaccines as distribution rollout struggles
About 50 percent of workers in California’s Riverside County have refused to take the vaccine, along with 60 percent of nursing home staff in Ohio.

Some Health Care Workers Are Hesitant About Getting COVID-19 Vaccines
Dr. Nikhila Juvvadi, chief clinical officer at a Chicago hospital, says about 40 percent of the staff distrust the vaccines — in part because of deep-rooted cultural mistrust based on past abuses.

Rarely do I throw the BS Flag, but I do not believe for a minute you 'tried to verify this'.

I spent appx. 1 minute researching this topic.

Really did try to try to find more info, started with "Parler"  thinking I could check the component stories but could not find the original . Tried a few searches and got nada. Me and computers never did work well together. I am sure I can come up with some more excuses.

Using Parler to find accurate information was your first mistake.

Already been said that they want a lot of folks to take it then see if there are any additional side effects. Maybe an Attorney will get on TV when and if side effects happen Or who knows what is in the vaccine.. is it safe with the New covid out.. or will it affect the next vaccine when they get it? I don't want to take a vaccine that tricks my immune system. The new virus might not mix well with that.
