Democrat Representative, Emanuel Cleaver ends a Congress prayer by saying 'Amen and a woman', in bid to be gender neutral. The video was posted online and he has been criticised by lawmakers who said he was wrong to assign gender to the word.
This historical meaning of amen, Greek, Hebrew, Latin is roughly truth, certainty, and is currently understood as 'so be it', or 'so it is'. It has never had anything to do with one's sex.
For the life of me, I cannot find an historical reference to the meaning of the term awomen.
A statement that we should heal and come together, ending with an ignorant pander to a false affront.
It is possible that he has a womental condition. I wish him no ill will, but do recomwomend he think about what he says before saying something so utterly ridiculous.

Takes just a few minutes on the net as I understand. I think these folks really are stupid. It's genuine, not an act. They are like actors, too small or stupid, or both to do real work.
