Effective 7-1-21
Effective 7-1-21 the state of WV will no longer collect sales tax on firearms and ammo. Great job Gov Justice for signing this bill into law.

along those lines I have yet to figure out 50 to 100million gun owners in the country and yet the 13 % OR 18% ? get every thing + more
serious gun owners need to use the same guide book as the minorities have to take back our rights
no way should we set by and say thank you sir may I have another one
I did run across a gun youtuber blogger ? I guess is the term , he just flat out said ignore the laws bidden is dreaming up there is millions of gun owners and 17k agents no way to get or enforce the laws .added in sure a dog or two may get shot a few maybe ran up the flag pole as examples but hold your ground they know the numbers are ageist them they have to make a showing to keep the funds flowing in from the anti gunners granted he was a lot better at stating it but that was his message in a nut shell and made sense

Good question mac, one I have thought of also. I would think that if the state of WV no longer collects tax effective 7-1-21 then gunbroker should not either. Hopefully GB will address this quickly. When you pay sales tax, shipping and a transfer fee it adds quite a bit to the purchase price.

Ditch another way to look at it though, is most gunowners also abide by the law, wether they like it or not! and the anti''s know that and keep passing dumber and dumber laws, now sure one day they will stand up and say enough is enough, but all the little dumb laws we have been obeying will make it almost impossible to win/overturn thing back to normal..

Has anyone purchased from GB lately that was from WV? Were you charged sales tax by GB? I emailed GB support serveral days ago and have not received a reply.

Otlahurst GB support will respond eventually don't send anymore request as it will bump you back to the end of the queue. No one here has any ties to GB auction side/support but since you are asking if anyone "here" has purchased and been charged the tax we will see if you get any replies. Don’t want to get off on the wrong foot here but I think it was clear I was asking if anyone on the forum had purchased lately. Not looking for tech support, but personal experience from the forum users.

No GB is not collecting sales tax from the state of WV now. I purchased a rifle before Christmas and no tax was added.
