speaking of a tough day and way to die

local news a fellow was shot called 911 the LEO went to help but ran over the fellow lying in the street while looking for the address , while waiting on them to arrive he was on the phone and told the operator they ran over me ... who ran over you he replied the cop

I have not read the entire article as they just posted a follow up

but the fellow died , he had been shot in the left arm but had major issues from being hit and ran over JMHO sounds like some serious cash is about to change hands

    If I have any power left in me at all I am rolling to the curb in this situation. If you are lying in the middle of the road at 11 pm, if the cops don't hit you, somebody else will.

    Had a local guy who was going home from a tavern at 1 am, drunk, and ditched his car. The coroner's report said it appeared he was on his hands and knees in the center of the right lane when he was run over by another local in a pickup. There were no charges filed.

    We had a drunk crawling across a highway & 2 car loads of ladies stopped to help him. Despite their attempts to warn on coming traffic, a mid-eastern driver didn't care & kept going. The ladies jumped out of the way but the drunk looked up at the last second & kissed the end of the bumper (metal back then.) Curious, I recognized him by his beard, which was all that was left. Best we could charge the a-hole with was reckless driving. His lawyer admitted he was guilty but this arrogant POS wouldnt go for it. Guilty anyway.
