Since they are still on the force, what prevents the powers that be from assigning them to the trouble spots anyway? Sounds like it was a symbolic gesture to make a point. I support them and wish them well and the ones that indicted the officer can go to h***. Bob

Water cannons and attack dogs is what they need. Then go out there and show no mercy. Arrest as many as posible put them in shackles and make them clean up the mess during the day. Once its cleaned up turn them loose, if they get caught again same thing only they do some time.

I fully agree but the spineless mayor of Portland would never go for something like that, Sam, nor would the lib-tard governor. They should have been hosing them down and locking them up a year ago.
