I would LOVE to find a piece of wood like that! It might take some doin', but I'd add on to the house if I had to just to display it.
I was setting some 18"x18" travertine tiles for a very well to do gentleman about 20 years ago. He had a little 4800 sq. ft. 'hunting cabin' built out in the middle of his 26,000 acres and I did all the tile work in it for him. Looking out the front windows there was an incredible view of, IIRC, Elk Mountain. I found some tiles in the boxes that had a veining pattern in them that was almost a perfect match to the profile of the mountain. I managed to situate them in the main entry (this would have been living room sized to most of us!) so that your eye would pick up the pattern in the tile and in the mountains all in one glance. Everyone that walked in stopped and looked at the mountain then the floor then back to the mountain. In addition to my contracted price Mr. M was very generous in his tipping.

They might be interested in that board for a advertisement.
Might really come alive with a little stain.

I have a board just like this and stained it. Wish I would not have. It lost a bit of character from the stain. These ostrich grain patterns are more common than you know.

Depicts a syndrome that has affected far too many Americans
