Finally got the ammo I've been waiting on
Awhile back I picked up an 1870's NY State Guard Remington rolling block in .50-70. I've wanted to shoot it since I got it, backordered some ammo from Buffalo Arms and it finally arrived today. Not cheap stuff, but it was the only option. Now to find something worthwhile to shoot.😁

Looks like it should be a heap of fun to pop off a few rounds of that! What weight bullet? Bob

You should get a picture of one of those next to a 22 LR to give us a little perspective.
Now be careful out there! We don't want you shooting an eye out or some other foolishness!

That oughta do the job. I say cartridges like that fall in the bowling ball category. They may not be fast, but will knock down whatever they hit. 😄 Bob

I lucked into some new starline brass, so I'm covered there.
