The Financial Times on Thursday reported that G7 countries are close to agreement on the corporate taxation of multinational firms. While the talks are taking place among nearly 140 countries through the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), G7 countries -- the United States, Japan, Germany, Britain, France, Italy and Canada -- have a strong influence over multilateral decisions.

They are not levying a new tax. They are trying to come to an agreement on how little tax any nation can charge its own corporations in order to cut down on corporations fleeing countries to escape taxes.
It would not cause a tax increase in the US because our government already charges 21% to our corporations.
It might save some domestic jobs because companies would have much less incentive to go to other countries to save corporate tax.

So Amazon can still pay zero taxes like before now? I don't buy your explanation? So if I buy a product where there is no corporate taxes on manufacturing of it I can still get that same item for the same price after this taxation kicks in? I doubt it.
The new normal is 15.00 dollars an hour here because unskilled workers can't provide a living with a family in a single mother's household without socialism giving them free food,subsidized housing,medical coverage,childcare and transportation.

If private companies met and agreed to minimum pricing of goods or services it would be called racketeering and is illegal. Governments do it and some call it a good thing, needed, proper, progress etc. and it's not only legal but applauded.

That's because everybody has to pay the tax equally and so no one gets an unfair advantage. Plus, paying a tax is not the same as gouging on price.

So the lobbyist and Corporate lawyers along with the politicians are all going to get on the same page and pay their fair share of Taxes for The NWO And The 2030 agenda with The United Nations. Of Course a war in the Middle East will be avoided and we will all find peace and prosperity for all.
The virus here is The NWO nanny governments under the guise of Global climate change and the mandates to act or else.
I know a flat tax for all is the ticket with no write-offs or bankruptcies for owners of LLC's and sticking it to share holders either. Make corporations not to be treated as a individuals under the law and lock up all the money changers crooks in both the governments and big businesses with The Central & corporate banks too while your at it.

I don't think the NWO, the UN, or global climate change prevention is getting the revenue.
I'm pretty sure the point of the plan is a corporation's own government will get the same revenue whether the corporation operates at home or the third world, up to the global minimum.
It's a great plan. Why give companies a tax break for relocating overseas and paying starvation wages and no corporate tax?
If only one country had decided to do this, then other countries who took advantage of low foreign tax rates would put that country out of business. What if Fords had to be built domestically at full tax rates while VWs and Nissans were built in Mexico? Ford would be at a disadvantage. So it is good that the G7 agreed.

It's going to have to be The G-20 to do any good. Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the US is not enough. Unless they put up trade barriers on Russia and China. Now having new A.I. factories with few to little employees then sure a 15 % tax will be no problem but I doubt it will be enough to pay off all the socialist giveaways to All the unemployed semi skill workers out there with an universal income with all the other perks already mentioned here to boot! Like Housing,food,medical care,daycare and transportation.
Maybe 20- 50 million more illegals coming here could help us,you think?

Organized price fixing and price gouging are not the same thing. If all 50 states agreed to the exact same tax codes to keep people from moving from one state to another based o their tax situation would this be okay?

The Democrats would be all for it.Now the next problem is how much your state pays in and how much gets kick back to it.
i think the time is coming when a few states would be better off running their own show for their constituents .The D.C. clowns up there are ruining The Union with Welfare for all.
Who wants to work anymore anyway. Give them all free housing medical care, child care, free food ,free education with clothing and a new electric vehicle. Single mothers need help now with their children,where is daddy at? Who cares,big brother is here to help!
