Holy smoke. Dogs and woman lucky to be alive.

Moma bear with cub can be vicious to say the least.

All the commotion and number of assailants must have buffaloed the bear.

Either very brave or very stupid. Perhaps a combination of both. Glad she got away with her actions.

Next thing you know the tree huggers will be complaining that she attacked a poor defenseless animal. Bob

My wife would do the same thing if a bear came after the four legged youngest son. But then the 7 pound Yorkie has chased more than one bear off the porch.

I have been told by some bear hunters that a small dog causes a bigger problem for a bear than a big dog, small one is hard to swat and fast as lightning.

Reaction vs thought process. Makes for some interesting situations.

My dogs would have been high tailing it under the porch.

lucky is a understatement odds are way against her and the dogs running away from such a encounter

mom with cubs all ready fighting with the dogs maybe being on the fence and a bit off balance helped but the woman and dogs ran to the house looked like the bear was back on the fence

I will bet after the excitement passed and she watched the video she had to change here paints

That gal could liven up this board of aging heros. She's got a bigger pair than I do. I would have sent my cat to deal with that bear, it would not have stood a chance.

I don't worry about the bears bothering my dogs, but I do worry about my dogs bothering the bears.

The bear is going for a reacharound. Here's a picture I actually believe, it's Charlie up at Bear Haven.
