i found my balls
they were sitting on my front porch when i returned from grocery shopping. so if anyone needs a stainless detent ball i have them in 12 metric sizes from 1 to 8mm. should fit most anything.

School teacher told the class that who ever answered her question on Friday could go home early.
Little Johnny brings two ball bearings to school Friday morning. Lunch time arrives and teacher asks the class if they remembered what the deal was about going home early.
Johnny rolls the bearings down the aisle, teacher asks "who has the balls of steel", superman says Johnny, see you Monday
