RIP Jake
We had to put down Dawnie's big baby last Sunday. Cancer that we didn't know about until it weakened him to where he couldn't walk. He always had trouble walking on account of bad hips, so we really didn't notice his difficulty until it was extreme.
He was just over 10 years old, and Dawnie's companion since he was 3 weeks old. He was so small, compared to his litter mates, and so sickly, I wanted to just smack him in the head with a shovel and bury him, but Dawnie believed he had potential. She was right. He was a good one.

Sorry for your loss and I am sure you gave Jake a great 10 years. In return I am sure he gave you his unconditional love. It may be bad of me to say that I miss some departed pets more than some departed relatives, but it is the truth. Bob

...I'm so sorry Dawnie, David...31/2 years ago I had to put down the Border Collie I brought out last time I saw you...she was the best...I think about her everyday...

... I inherited the two Dobies Dak & Zoe, and I wouldn't take for 'em...Dak, the male, is a PIA sometimes when he just looks at me, with that "what?" look....when I tell him to come in the house or whatever...and he KNOWS exactly what I'm asking him to do...😊...so sorry for ya'lls loss...

as odd as it seems the story I like to believe is the rainbow bridge were we meet up again with our buddies they give so much for us, unconditional love is hard to say goodbye too
