Making money was never the problem. Hanging onto that money was another whole different problem.

Nothing wrong with working hard. Those who do work hard are often prosperous even when they are old.

We're all here for the same reason! 😀

My late brother used to always say; "The problem with money is that it doesn't come with instructions!" 🙂

When I was a gold miner we would fill dry roasted peanut jars with nuggets and bury them in the woods until the end of the season, then we'd dig them up and bring them home to town. Ever seen a Planters jar that weighs 15 lbs? It's a thing of beauty.
I see no reason why the same cannot be done with gold and silver rounds today. You can easily get $20,000 worth of gold ounces in a jar. A carefully marked map, or a set of photographs with lat/longs embedded with steganography would be key to finding them. Lucky heirs would get a thumb drive full of old photos. Or maybe two siblings that have never got along would get thumb drives... one gets latitudes, the other gets longitudes. And they learn to be civil with each other.
