First I have heard of it, but I'd try one. 🙂🙂

I have made bacon wrapped hotdogs but not this fancy. This looks good and I'll try it. I'm not too sure of the maynnaise though.

Yes, when visiting the wife's aunt and uncle in Arizona City. They were good, but just a bit hot for my liking. I would definitely eat them again with a different choice of salsa (it was green and very hot).

I was gonna say yeah I have one sleeping right here beside me.

    Then I realized... oops.

Yes, being I live in Tucson, I have these pretty regularly!

The best ones are from "El Perro Loco" which has a couple different places around town.

If you visit Tucson, don't miss out on trying one!

Um…if I was inebriated, does it still count?

Looks easy enough to attempt making at home except for the bolillo bun. The internet says it compares similar to a short French  baguette which is a bit on the tough and chewy side. Our local bakery makes some pretty good baguette's and I may use them cut to hot dog size and give these a try.

Those look REALLY good! Our local Safeway and Albertsons used to sell the bolillo rolls in a covered bin. Since the chinavirus, you have to buy them in a bag of 12, no more "unsanitary" individual sales. I might need to buy a bag (more than I can use) just to try these out. Thinking I'd probably use some sort of spicy brat instead of weiners though.

Just mildly curious; what's with all the numbers scattered through the original post?

The numbers are references to the source of the information, probably was copied from wiki or some similar site.

And yes I have had these in Az on a visit to family. Some of the places deep fry them instead of grilling.

Finally, a hot dog I could go for. ANYTHING (food) wrapped in bacon and grilled has to be some fine dining. My neighbor wrapped some gator tail pieces in bacon and grilled them, dang near ate myself sick on them!

I generally stick to "simpler is better" when it comes to hot dogs, but that one does indeed look and sound fabulous.
