Heritage Rough Rider
Anybody here have one or two?
I know they are cheap single actions.........I now have two........one standard model with the .22 Mag cylinder, and just bought the 16" barrel model today............because, hey, 16" barrel right? Both of mine are BNIB.........don't know if I will ever shoot them. Heck, in 30 years, they might be like the $79.00 SKS paratroopers packed in cosmoline back in the 90's............🤣🤣.
Beside that, are they pretty decent shooters or just junk?

I sold a few when they first came out. I thought they actually shot pretty good for whay they cost. The problem, at least with the early models, was a lack of durability. Starting to shave lead after a brick or so of ammo wasn't uncommon. Perhaps by now, 12 or more years later, they have fixed their early short comings. Bob

They go bang every time you pull the trigger. Same with Hi Points. Will hit what you are aiming for providing you do your part.
I consider both bargains because of their reliability and they hit what you aim for.
Taurus and Llamas are junk.

Great for having a good time without costing a fortune. I also bought the 16". I had it hanging on the computer room wall. Got lots of looks, most everyone wanted to handle it.

yep got one...seems OK except cylinder gap was huge...i took it down to .003/.004 and cured a lot of blow by

I have Smith, and Ruger .22s, but bought one for a truck gun. I shoot it a lot and have never had a problem. It is a deal for $129, and I have the Magnum cyl. The only thing I dont like is the flap door safety. Other than that its almost a cheap clone of the Ruger single six.

I have 2...My first revolver when I was in high school...$39.00 (I know it was $30 something) The store threw in a holster and a box of shells!!! Bought another for around $50 with a mag cyl...Both shoot very well... The 22mag cyl is extremely loud...

Not even close to the quality of a Ruger Single Six.

Save your bucks and hold out for a Ruger single 6.
Heritage are ok guns but I would wager they won't hold up under a lot of use/abuse.

Gave one to a friend of mine. He shot a squirrel with it, the 1st day of owning it. Says it's loud though.

I've had one for about five years now. Put at least a brick of .22LR through it with no problems. I think, for the price, it's a great deal. Do not expect the quality of a Ruger Single Six. It just isn't. But it's not a piece of pot metal junk, either. If you want a .22 that'll be passed down to your grandchildren after decades of heavy use this might not be for you. If you want a truck gun, a fun plinker and a safe pistol you'll be happy.
I bought mine on sale for $109.00. They're still available for $129.00 regularly. I figured I'd just shoot it until it shoots loose or gets out of time or until something else happens, then go buy another one. Hasn't happened yet.

I have a couple. I bought the 16" barrel and whenever someone asks why I bought a handgun with a 16" barrel I said it is because I couldn't get a 17".

Never had any experience with the Heritage but have enjoyed my little High Standard Double 9 revolver a lot over the past couple of years.
I wonder how it compares to the Heritage?

I had one and gave it to my brother.Nothing wrong with it,not top of the line but I think it is a good product for the price.If they hold up well it is a real bargain.
