Thanks so much for the birthday card! It arrived today, or at least I picked it up when I went by the Postal Orifice today. That's very thoughtful of you. One of these days we'll have to meet in the middle, I'd like to shake your hand and buy you a drink.
For the rest of you, Steve's probably one of the finest people I've never met. I won a giveaway a couple of years ago for a fly reel and ever since I've received a birthday card and a Christmas card. Just darned thoughtful. I think the world would be much better if we all could be more like him.

Thanks for the kind words Gentlemen. I placed my hands on that Bible 3 times and took my Obligations. You can fancy it up however you like - but part of it is what you have always known since the 3rd grade at the latest - is simply 'The Golden Rule'.

That connection is really cool ..............on another thread here, I saw some comments about this forum dying because it's just a bunch of old guys now. I appreciate the old guys. Back then it was a bit more lively..... with more members.........and different discussions............ I took a break for awhile, missing all of the changes, and then was able to resurrect my account.
Now here I am. I'm 52, so I'm not too far behind a lot of the members here. 18 years or so does change things.........but I'm still in it.
Cheers to all of you who have made friendships through the forum.
I have tried a couple of other forums...........but when I get home from work........I always refresh this one.
