    They make good rifles in Finland! I have a M39 Mosin Nagant made by Tikka in 1941. Beautiful rework of a Russian rifle.

    Thanks for the post savage170. I designed robotic accessed assemblies for 17 years before my second retirement. I also worked closely with a CNC machine shop so I'm somewhat familiar with the processes. My favorite segment was the barrel hammering. Maybe I should go to the auction side and look for Sako. Wait a minute, I'm trying to downsize.

    I have a Tikka rifle in 300 wsm. The bolt handle is fitted on with a dove tail. One reason a Tikka sells for less than a Sako. The rifle shoots and functions well, the trigger is great, I really like it.
