I don't believe that's Billy & the boys, there's no 1/2 naked women in the photo, in fact there's no kind of women at all there and we all know they liked their women wholesome 😊. I too shall pass on it.

if real why is not at one the huge well know auction company's with all the bells and whistles publications yes I know they get a arm and leg for promoting and selling and verifying ( maybe the sticking point ? ) but still the seller is getting world wide big $$ buyers attention in using them
I know GB is a well know site but If I was going to buy a super rare photo it would be the last place I would be looking or there fishing for possible interest

I too question the decision to sell here A little research shows it was at Sofe design auction house in 2019 to be sold . It has been authenticated as real Further search showed an opening bid of $50,000 .00 which was passed up and it had no bidders .

I watched a program years back If I remember the one that was suppose to be the only one know and was reverse image tin type ? why they called him left hand gun slinger until they figured out the photo went for some crazy amount like 2.5 million then some fellow found this one in a group of old photos he bought for a couple bucks at the time he was working on getting it authenticated and was hoping for the multi million prize also .
he will just have to settle for market value as I see it I wish him the best of luck

When it comes to selling items like this, timing is very important. If a new Hollywood movie were to come out making Billy a fresh new hero\anti-hero to the new generation, it would help the sale go upward.
When the latest movie "Titanic" was released, any kind of memorabilia from that ship went through the roof. Same goes for the Hawken rifle after "Jerimiah Johnson" in the early 70's.
