Those look a little bigger than the bales I used a hayhook on to put on the wagon.😲

Costal Bermuda redhawkk480 for both cows and horses here in North Texas.

    How’s a cow supposed to get a square meal?🐃😁

Looks like some nice tight bales.

some around here wrap those big round bales in white plastic, I told my young grandson a few years back they were marshmallows for the cows, he believed me and told his mom and dad, he won't ever live that one down ..............

You spelled "Hey" wrong, it's "Hay"🤣

hillbille there is one place around here where I have seen the big marshmallows and yes I thought that's what they look like also, I would worry that they would get mildew without being able to breath, but I don't know, not real common around these parts to wrap them up like that.

I finished baling just before the rains started. Now hoping for a week of dry weather so I can haul the bales out of the field w/o making ruts.

There's a shortage of good quality hay and my hay was sold to buyers from Iowa. I hate loading semi's.

Unless you picked up a bunch of bales, it must have been a thin crop?

JimmyJack 17 bales from only about 7 acres that were cut... not what I'd call a thin crop for around here.

forgemonkey wow what a bummer, I'd say that hay is ruined and good thing he got his equipment out in time.

Wrapped bales of cut milo for cattle feed are common in eastern nc . Due to all the swine and poultry operations we have large acreages of coastal bermuda and other forage grasses . Surprising how much hay gets shipped out of state .
