    I have to give credit where it is due. I have heard Biden say some sensible things about Afghanistan. Yesterday he asked, "How many more thousands of young American men and women should be sent over, risking their lives in this country?"

    Very good question.

    And today at a press conference, he said "We cannot bestow a government on this country. They will get the government they deserve." A profound remark. Just like America in 1776. If your group has the guts, and the guns to fight the Taliban then you might wind up with a good government. If you lack the guts or the guns, you will be a servant for the Taliban.

    And today a reporter made an accusatory question towards Biden, and he retorted with some anger, "Afghanistan has never been a single united country. It has always been an accumulation of various tribes." A true remark!

    I was surprised to see how sharp Biden was in his remarks on Afghanistan. And I was surprised that, finally I agree with Joe Biden on something.
