Heading west on Thursday morning...
I have a road trip set for California. Not that I miss that State, but I haven't seen my mother, or my sister and her family in 4 years! I'll also visit with a few friends before heading to Southern Utah to visit my father's family. I'd hoped for a longer trip- perhaps into August, but something came up at the end of July which will cut it short.
Although I may look in on the forum from time to time, I will be unable to deal with forum issues. Sr. Moderator montanajoe will be acting admin during my absence. GBHQ has been made aware of this.

I think you'll be impressed with smooth and easy the admin hammer swings when compared to your Sr. Mod hammer. From personal experience, once the glass is broken and the admin hammer is out of it's case, you'll want to keep swinging away!

After you go through southern Utah take a little detour north up I-15 then west I-90 then up I-97, cross at Osoyoos and it's a short jaunt to Anchorage. Lemme know when you reach Gulkana and I'll put the coffee pot on for ya.

I think we should have a 'Moderator Of The Day', with full banning powers, but limited to one banishment per Moderator.
The bans would not be permanent, say only for 6 months or a year. Each Moderator would have to tell who they had banned, and why. And they would have to tell this info immediately because there is a very good chance that they themselves would be banned in the very near future.
The Moderator's names could be drawn from a tumbling machine (like those used for Powerball numbers) by a Super-Moderator, such as MontanaJoe or Nunn.
By the time Mark returns, the forum would be pared down to a small but elite group of individuals, upright in character and given to intelligent and articulate comments, revered by all and surpassed by none.
