A garden based lunch! Oh my, my, my!!
Momma sliced tomatoes and cucumbers from our garden. I cooked up a pot of hot buttered beets from our garden. A neighbor gave me a dozen ears of sweet corn from his garden. Peaches were for dessert, coming from the great Cooley peach orchard.
The tomatoes, cucumbers and the sweetcorn were picked this morning. I dug the beets two days ago.
It was all wonderful in flavor and freshness!! THANK YOU LORD!!!!!

I have not eaten at a "fast food joint" this year. At least a burger type FFJ. I did eat once at Subway last month. Momma don't do deep fried and I rarely do deep fried. Momma and I often talk about how what we eat would send the average American running screaming for the door!! 😁
