Taurus Rifle Question
Does anyone happen to have a 22 pump rifle? It's a take-down and I'm having a problem with assembly.
Please don't give me a hard time guys. This is why I'm banned from the "Experts" forum.

Once again, I should have been more specific. I've had this thing for 25 years, never shot it, and just had it in one of the safes. I pulled it out today and thought it was a take down so I unscrewed the take down kurreled screw, pulled it apart, and now I can't get it to lock in place. I can get to two main parts together but the locking screw seems too short.

Does the screw need to come all the way out or can you start it and slide the pieces together?

The screw is captive and if I retract the screw as far as I can the two pieces go together just fine. I can't get the screw to engage the right side of the receiver.

I know what you are talking about. Try pressure as you turn.

Checking the alignment with a flashlight and pressure got it together. I was going to keep it but after looking at it's value I'll give it to Kasey next week. You guys are the greatest. Well, most of you.

they are fun , I had one years ago and only sold it after i got a Winchester 62a, kind of wished i hadn't got rid of it , the 62a stays in the safe , where as i think the Taurus would have got used
