Are Chiang-kai Shek (Type 24) rifle parts interchangeable with Kar 98k parts?

In my unexpert opinion, a Mauser bolt and other parts, should fit the Type 24 if it is a true clone of the Mauser model. Actual firing would depend on the headspace and condition of the Type 24. Good luck.

The handguard from any 98K will fit the Type 24 Mauser. There are many beech handguards in new condition available that were made for the Israeli 98Ks in 7.92 and 7.62 that will fit nicely on your Chiang Kai Shek rifle.

One other option for your bolt would be a bolt from a Czech VZ24, which will have the correct straight style bolt knob which was common on the pre war 98ks. Again, as mentioned, check headspace.

Sounds good, I just grabbed an Israeli handguard and a Vz24 bolt!
