not even a week into the new school year......
and my granddaughter got sent home yesterday. got call about 2pm to come pick her up, supposedly she was exposed to covid on monday, and now has to quarantine till saturday, and if she passes the test she can go back on tuesday. so here we set staring at each other wondering what to do the next two days. thought about taking her fishing but it has been high 90 and don't really want to sit on riverbank and sweat. think we may go shooting then out to the backroads and let her drive the side by side, so far no symptoms and hoping she won't come down with any as she has asthma and am afraid it could go south on her fast. she is quickly finding out grampa is boring, and school hasn't called with any homework to pick up.

yeah thats been my world. just watched on the news how short mississippi is on nurses, report said we have enough beds and equipment but are down 2000 nurses from last year. they did several nurse interviews and these poor women were all crying talking about how tired they were and how many times they had to choose between which person to help because she was the only nurse. it seems the only way we have to fight this is with vitamins and supplements. take care man and the best of luck to you and your family.

Schools here are reporting 300-600 cases positive . Won't be long for virtual learning again.

if you don't have one or know what they are , read up on getting a Nebulizer , then find a local health store that carries them if you can, they can also give advice on what to use in them, also go get some Zinc ( they make them in Gummies which kids like ) along with vitamin C , load her up on both of those and have some Pedialyte on hand if she does get it , because if she does come down with it most likely she will not feel like eating and keeping her fluids and electrolytes up is very important
