Haven't had a Sig 22X in about 20 years. Never really cared for them being left handed. The slide stops are too far back to access with my left hand. This Slovenia copy has ambi safeties and the slide stop further forward. It also can be carried cocked and locked.

Looks to be a mixture of a CZ99 and Sig 226.

Already ordered a set of Hogue G10 grips and Kydex Holster for it. Reviews on the pistol look decent:

    Back when the pandemic first hit I saw tons of these P226 knock-offs on my distributer sites but I never actually ran one through my shop under the fear that it wouldn't sell. Please do let me know how you like it.

    So I still haven't shot this pistol yet.

    Was reading online about pistol presentation and red dot sights for pistols. Supposedly you should be able to draw you gun, bring it up to eye level, and have your sights already be lined up. "They" say if you need to adjust your sight picture at all to line up your sights, you "presentation" is bad. Sounds like ridiculous snobbery to me. I've never put much thought into my "presentation."

    Well I finally got my holster and grips from ebarf and did some practice draws, noting I needed to move the gun around to line my sights up. I thought myself - well so much for having good "presentation."

    I then took at closer look at the sights... Neither sight is centered on the slide. The front sight is far left in the dovetail and rear sight is far right in its dovetail. That aint going to work too good.

    I have a Ncstar Vism rear sight pusher that I've used to swap rear sights on multiple Glocks. I relearned it doesn't work on front sights. So I broke out the mallet and whacked on the front sight. No go. Brought out a punch and got the front sight to move... all the way to right. Tapped on it again... it went back all the way to the left.

    Stopped by the local hardware store that doubles as a gun shop and asked them if they had a front sight tool. No luck. Ordered a Ncstar front sight pusher tool from Amazon. This one is supposed move both front a rear sights.

    Maybe I'll go burn a mag - point shooting and see if this pistol functions, while I wait for the front sight tool.
