I read that Charlie hasn't missed a performance since 1963. Him and Mick are the only Stones to be in every album the Stones ever recorded. I listened to an interview during which Charlie was asked how come he had been married for over 50 years as compared to antics of the other Stones. His reply was great. "The other guys are rock and roll stars. I'm just a drummer."

    A very modest man.

My father had Alzheimer's also. He only knew me and my step-sister probably because we went to see him every week. One day he asked me who that woman was, I told him "that's your wife".

He also lost the ability to make red blood cells. He had to go to the hospital once a month to get a blood transfusion. After he got out of the hospital he would go from 2 word sentences to 5-6 word sentences. Then slowly fade back to 2 words. It was hard to watch him go from an intelligent Dr. to a hollow shell of his former self.

67 here, will be 68 in December. Feel like crap, odometer has turned over too many times.

Saw Charlie and the gang in Charlotte 20 plus years ago. One client gave me two tickets and another gave me three.

Walked in the auditorium and usher says your seats are right down there, two rows from center stage, couldn't hardly believe it. Mick and the Stones came down the runway and somehow he gave my wife a rose. You know the rest of the story.

The three other tickets went to some friends, one said I hope Keith has on good deodorant, they were really close to.

    Good times were had.
