.38 Special Ammo Question

Sorry guys because I think I asked this a few years ago. Now that I'm getting ready to sell ammo on the auction side, I forget what the answers were.

I have 100 or so rounds of .38 Special. It's marked "R.P". The bullet is flush with the case end. I don't think they are blanks. Has anyone run across these?

    Remington/Peters .38 "mid range" wad cutter ammo

    The S&W model 52 semi auto target pistol was designed to use 38 special wadcutters that were seated flush with the mouth of the case. I am guessing R-P stands for Remington Peters. Bob

    They could be reloads. That would lower the value a lot. Are the primers brass colored? Some reloading component primers are brass colored like Remington factory primers, but if you have nickel primers, then they are surely reloads.

    Yes, they have brass primers. I don't have original boxes and have them in Midway plastic boxes.
