Keep the diesel fresh
Got some bad diesel and ran it thru the tractor. Tank had algae and sludge in it. Got lazy and decided not to pull tank and clean it. Put liquid de grease soap in the tank and flushed it out.. Let it sit overnight, crud washed right out. Filled up the tank and running it completely dry to make sure no more crud is in it.

Add proper conditioner and the snot will never appear.
First time I saw it my tractor would not run after fill up. Off comes the filter and primer pump. Who in the world put black plastic in my fuel tank.😕

are you using biodiesel ?

Straight Diesel. No primer pump gravity fed to filter. Air bleed to start if runs out or stops

i dont know how much it helps but i am a consistent user of diesel kleen especially with this new low sulphur fuel. i havent had any problems since i started this. google algae in diesel fuel

Soon as I run out the tank I will put in some of the diesel clean. I have a bottle to treat 100 gal.
