    Take your wife, son, daughter....whoever over to the safe, open it, and say "point to the full auto". You'll be surprised what happens if your family doesn't have a lot to do with these things. This is why I think it needs to be standard practice that its marked in some way that this is "it" if someone might be dealing with these things.

    Good advice but I'd suggest taking it a step further and fill out a Form 5 for ALL your NFA items and instruct the beneficiary of said NFA items on how to send it in after your death.

    I’m not planning to go anywhere anytime soon but our daughter, an attorney, knows what to do, which ones they are, and they have a copy of my paperwork rubber banded to the stocks. Prior planning prevents ……

    Great advice Kasey. Like you, but on a smaller scale, I deal with a lot of estate guns and a lot of times no one knows much about the guns. Right now I am in the middle of an estate with a lot of nice guns, some of which are in parts or partially completed projects. There also happen to be maybe ten more boxes of parts and seven or eight cases of ammo. It takes a lot of time trying to figure out what everything is. But it still beats having a real job.
