Lead shot makers
I have a bunch of lead that I have collected over the years and I think it’s time to make some lead shot from it. Classic used to make it but I never have so what is a good shot maker to get from your experience?

For a long time I heard good things about the Littleton shot maker. I did a search to get you a link and see the company has changed hands.
Oasis Lead Shot Maker
Oasis Lead Shot Maker is the premier buckshot making system, Made of quality materials and built to last!Seems like an expensive start up cost but with the price of a bag of shot being so high, I bet you could make it pay for itself pretty quickly. Bob

if you allready have a lead melting pot, you can set it to drip slowly, let if fall on short piece of metal angled down toward a pie pan or some such with small amount of water, only downside is the shot may be teardrop shaped and not perfectly round, as above there will be some adjustment needed to get the right size drop of lead to roll down, a lot of trial and error, good luck......... I sold all my block lead awhile back to a young fellow who built lawn mower pulling tractors, I had close to 300lbs of lead I had collected to do this very thing, then got a deal on 100 lbs of #5 shot, more than enough to last me the rest of my life.

Or a 75' one will do in a pinch. https://www.vaco.org/visit-wythe-county-and-shot-tower-state-park/
It is a cool place to visit. I was there about 15 years ago. 200 year old technology that hasn't changed much since. Bob
