I stopped by CVS and got the shot today...if it makes anyone I deal with feel better, I'm in.
While I'm totally against the idea of having to prove you got a shot to do anything.....I can't think of a good enough reason not to get it, so I did. I deal with so many people who are older and susceptible to major problems if they catch it, so if its something I can do to ease anyone's mind I can't see why not do it.
I've gotten every vaccination they've ever come up with when I was a child, plus the mystery cocktail they shot me up with when I joined the Navy. The Pfizer shot is close to being FDA approved, which is what I was waiting for....so since I have so many trips coming up I thought I'd get this over with in case it did affect me.
I had covid last July and it wasn't all that bad for me. I know its a crap shoot as to how its going to go, so as I'm traveling around the country....I'm not going to be Typhoid Mary from Alabama.

Slippery slope having to prove a vaccination, what could be next? Show me your papers....What if they have a shot that makes you return to the gender you were born as could they mandate that too?
