I've heard commercials for a somewhat local gunshop advertising 9mm 115 gr FMJ for 40 cents a round, limit 1000 rounds per week. They must have a decent supply.

My FFL's wholesaler sent him some 380 Fiochi at about 8 dollars above what was wholesale a few months ago. Seems like someone is making some real money.

i think the prices went stupid high and people quit buying. Kind of an extreme case of supply and demand, and without interference. When people quit buying it at high prices, then it sits on the shelf until the price comes down.

I need some 380 range fodder, but not bad enough to pay current prices.

Ammo of all calibers has been abundant here, However only those in dire need of the stuff are paying the prices demanded.

I haven't bought ammo in quite awhile.......except what has come along with a few gun buys. I can afford to wait til prices come back down.

a lot of people maxed out CC buying guns and ammo . once they got a little ammo built up the crazy prices was a turn off point I have not bought any ammo for a long time but have seen the price on the internet sites that list best prices and places have dropped when if levels back out I will pick up some more 300 black out and 308 but no hurry

I haven't found 20ga Sabot slugs since last Summer. I can see why shops are out of the regular 9mm, .45, 556, but shotgun slugs ???

I'm literally down to the last 3 that my H&R is sighted in for.

When the supply is larger than the demand, prices will drop.

Except for turkey loads I havent bought any ammo for several years. Havent had the need, and I havent even begun to use my back stock that I don't really have. You know, the stuff that feel into the bottom of the lake when the boat sunk...😉

Sold a bunch locally consignment when it was going $1 a round any caliber.

Picked up some more via an online search engine. Got brass 9mm and 223 at reasonable prices.

Have 1k of Tula steel case 223 that doesn't work in any of my AR15's. 1st shot sticks in the chamber requiring a cleaning rod to clear it. Extractor is tearing the rims off. May dump that off locally - cheap. Maybe it will work in a 223 AK.

Barnaul steel case 223 with lacquered cases works just fine in the same multiple AR15's.

Looking for reasonable .270 brass. So far I havent found any Im willing to pay more for the brass than I used to for loaded shells.

Went to 6 gun shops yesterday shopping for ammo. Many more boxes on the shelves than a few weeks ago, but most of the boxes were wimpy stuff like 9mm, .380, 5.56. Revolver ammo, and ammo for the old lever guns is nonexistant.

Most ammo is around if you want to pay the price.

Wait a year or so and prices will become more reasonable.

Was at a bass pro shop a few days ago - Vegas - lots of blammo on the shelves. Lots of holes too. Pricing is a lot lower than it was 3 months ago, but not great. Last January there was NOTHING on the shelves. Good 223 was still close to $1 a round, lower quality was around 70 cents.

I reload for every gun I have, except for .22. But I don't shoot much anymore so what I have in stock will last to the end of my days, and if not, I'll just make more.
