Years ago, I was on a flight. It was far from being packed, and all the flight attendants were female. Long story made short, a male had been drinking and was becoming a real nuisance.
Several times, he got up and left his seat and wandered around. His assigned seat was next to a window. There was a seat in the middle (unassigned) and a female in the isle seat. The female was clearly upset and nervous.
I was seated two rows behind them. I could hear and see what was going. I approached one of the flight attendants and suggested that the female in the isle seat, switch seats with me. The female in question was more than happy to oblige.
Once we swapped seats, the male returned to his isle. Seeing me seated in the isle seat, he stopped and looked at me. I stood up and made room for him to take his seat. Once seated, he continued to look at me.
I leaned over the vacant seat and told him we only had about 90 min. or so, until our flight reached it's destination. I went on to tell him that he would remain seated until we got off the plane. And, I told him to keep his mouth shut until then. He just stared at me for a minute or so.
He then lowered his seat back, leaned towards his window and went to sleep. Once landed, I made sure that we were the last two off the plane. Just before exiting the cabin, the co-pilot greeted me with a handshake.
Wow, it turns out I have met a GB member.

I just had 2 40-ish year old soccer moms being very drunk and belligerent on a flight from Dallas to Orlando. They were removed before we left DFW , but it was absolutely ridiculous.

bigcitybill: So this guy is not really a flight attendant? I must say, I was surprised to see the beard, plus they don't want someone that fat for a flight attendant, those aisles would get a little crowded with him shoving that fat belly around.

They should have had to piolt drop to about 1000', so they could open a door & boot his sorry a$$ out...😉
