These people do not matter. By choice.
Was watching an episode of The Five the other day, and one of the segments featured Biden's speech/press conference about vaccines and masking.
And then it hit me.
The leader of the free world is pleading with his citizens to take partially vetted vaccines, and going through a ridiculous amount of nuance regarding wearing of masks. This is stupid. Are things so good in this world and in this country that our President and the press need to spend so much time on something that is by any reasonable metric is now controlled?
Statistically, only those who have chosen to not receive a vaccine are at risk of serious illness. This is not a pandemic anymore.
Children are statistically safe, even if they get the virus. This is no longer a pandemic.
And it dawned upon me that I do not know anyone who is listening to the guidance being provided by POTUS and his circus of nanny state idiots. I do not know anyone who is listening to the guidance being provided by Fauci or even local and regional health bureaucrats.
This is only news to those who would impose restrictions and to those who report the actions and words of those who would impose restrictions. The average American no longer cares what these idiots are telling us.
We will live our lives as we see fit. We are ignoring and will ignore what these people say.
This is how it should be.
Ignore the tyrants and ignore their lackeys in the press. We all should have ignored them a year ago. (As some of us did.)

These people, meaning the Biden-Fauchi cabal and a host of media sycophants, just dont get it: We dont trust them.
Every time they open their mouth, the stench of BS fills the room combined with condescension and arrogance towards everyone in opposition. How many times have these people been caught vacillating between masks and no masks, The tell us to mask up, yet they dont follow their own rules.
They called Trump a liar and bigot when he said the virus originated in China and Hydroxychloroquine was dangerous and mocked Trump for taking it. Now that Biden is POTUS, they are admitting it came from China and Hydroxi is OK.
Biden himself said if you get the shots, you dont need to mask up and now the mask mandates are back even for the vaccinated.
Covid shots are not mandatory for the military whom are always used to test vaccines. Could it be they are exempt because of readiness issues?

I used to watch that show once in a while. I stopped when they had Juan Williams on the show. He was such an idiot, no matter what any Democrat said he would defend them.

For me, chiefr, it is not a matter of trust, it is a matter of I just don't care what they say anymore.
The Federal Government did what it was supposed to; it facilitated the manufacture of a vaccine in the best way available at the time. It appears that the vaccines that were developed largely work, and they have now been available to anyone who wanted them for months.
It is no longer a Federal issue. It is now a personal issue, and the American people are acting in what they feel to be their individual best interest. This is how America works, is how America is supposed to work. Prolonging the Federalization of problem that has been solved is anti-American.
Time to move on. I have moved on, and am only concerned that those in Government, be they elected or be they bureaucrats, refuse to accept that they have done what they are charged to do. The only rational reason for their refusal to move on is that they wish to continue being directly involved in our day-to-day lives.
Something that is extremely anti-American.

I do not trust anything the government says about anything. I do not trust the CDC. I do not trust the intentions of Fauci and cohorts. I do not trust the vaccine.
I hope I do not get Covid 19 or any of its variants.

The CDC is not a government agency- it is a private "non-profit" organization run by big pharma and holds the patents on dozens of vaccines.
Why should anyone believe or trust any of their mandates or recommendations? I trust them as much as I trust Fauci... I don't.

No previous generation of Americans would have put up with this mess. Can you imagine what would have happened if what the government has done to us over the past year, had been tried on the WWII veterans just back from Europe and the Pacific? We are a push-over generation and the government knows it.
